Art in Bloom 2025 Schedule of Events
Regional Artists Gallery Exhibit (June 2-18)
10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Leading up to the main event, the gallery will feature an exhibit of works from regional artists, selected for their ability to inspire floral designers. This year’s featured artists are all from Asheville’s River Arts District, an area known for its rich culture of creativity. Art in Bloom Preview Party (June 19)
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
The Art in Bloom Preview Party offers attendees the first chance to see the stunning floral arrangements inspired by the regional artwork. Guests can mingle with the floral designers while enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres. It’s a vibrant start to the event, setting the stage for the days to come. Tour the Gallery & Floral Arrangements (June 20-21)

On June 20 and 21, the gallery will be open for visitors to explore the breathtaking floral arrangements inspired by the artwork on display. From Ikebana to Western floral designs, the arrangements on display will demonstrate the diverse ways floral designers interpret art. It’s an opportunity to see nature itself come alive through flowers, capturing the essence of both art and horticulture in one stunning experience.
Local Garden Tour & Plein Air Artists (June 20-21)

Guests can also take part in a self-guided tour of some of the region’s most beautiful local gardens. As they stroll through these vibrant spaces, visitors will encounter plein air artists capturing the natural beauty of the gardens. Garden Tour Tickets include a map to help navigate the tour, along with access to the main gallery for the Art in Bloom exhibit. Bonus Day: Tour the Gallery & Floral Arrangements (June 22)
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Art from the Garden Opening Reception (June 27)

After the whirlwind of Art in Bloom, the BMCA will host the Art from the Garden Opening Reception. During this event, visitors can view the works created by plein air artists during the Garden Tour. Art from the Garden Exhibit (June 27 – July 25)
