Get ready for a spooktacular event that’s bound to delight both you and your furry friends! Join us for the 21st Annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade and Costume Contest in Black Mountain’s charming Town Square on Saturday, October 28th, at 3 p.m.
The best part? Participation in the parade is absolutely free! It’s a fantastic opportunity to show off your pet’s unique personality and flair for fashion. And if your pet loves dressing up, then you’re in for a treat. Registration for the costume contest opens at 1:30 p.m., and for just $8, you and your pet can enter for a chance to win exciting cash prizes and gift certificates, thoughtfully donated by our local businesses. Register for either the pet only or pet and person category. Costume Contest immediately after the parade.
What makes this event extra special is that the grand prize winner will be chosen by the audience. That’s right – your cheers and applause will determine the best costume of the day!
But there’s more to this event than just costumes and prizes. A portion of the proceeds this year will go to Mountain Pet Rescue- a foster based animal rescue founded in 2017.
